Quality construction
- There is argument that modular homes are built better than onsite homes because the entire building process takes place in a factory where custom tools are available. On site builders are often limited to tools – especially large jig saws and cranes – that can’t be transported to the job site. - House inspection for your modular home will be performed in-factory as well. The modular manufacturer will contact the home inspector to come and approve the home according to state law. When home building is complete the home inspector certifies that the modular home complies with all building laws.
- Your modular home will also need to pass another building inspection when it’s assembled onsite. As part of your closing costs, an independent building inspector will also come to certify your modular home is built to code on location.
